3D Horse Cake

Maddix turns 4 this year and wanted a horse cake. This cake was done in chocolate with buttercream icing and fondant. This cake begins as a 1/2 sheet cake. I also made 20 chocolate cupcakes with green icing to accompany the cake.

 

Minnie Mouse

Marley turned 2 and needed a pink Minnie Mouse cake. Yellow cake torted into 4 levels with buttercream, fondant, and royal icing ears.

Sonic the Hedgehog

Trey turned 7 and wanted a Sonic c

ake. The cake is Chocolate with buttercream.

Epi's Birthday

This cake was from last December. It was a candy barrel cake for my friend Epi.

Forced Resignation Party

The Executive Director at one of the state agencies I worked at was finally forced to resign last week. In celebration of his demise, my ex coworkers purchased this cake for a party. They requested the cake be red velvet to complete the effect when they cut him up to eat. This cake used a new technique of Frozen Butter Cream transfer that I enjoyed trying for the first time. I look forward to many ways to use this technique! This cake was 1/2 a sheet cake in size.

Cupcakes for Brandi's Shower

Yellow cupcakes. Some with Chocolate icing and the others with Cream Cheese icing. I made the blue diaper pens candies also. Great idea for a shower.

Baby Rump

This cake was done for Cristi Kidd's baby shower on 3-27-10.

This was the first time I had tried something like this and I already know all the things I would do differently the second time around. :)
